[h=1]Human bones found in Newberry home's septic tank, sheriff's office says[/h]

According to the sheriff's office, a woman called Monday to report that the provider servicing her septic tank had found what appeared to be skeletal remains inside the tank.

Investigators responded to the home on Northwest 52nd Place in Newberry and were working to determine if the bones were animal or human, deputies said.

Forensic anthropologists from the University of Florida and the Medical Examiner were called out to assist in the investigation and to help determine the origin of the remains.
They confirmed that the remains are human.

Sounds like a good possibility to me, especially with the connection to Newberry. On the Alachua County webpage the only other MP other than Heather is Tiffany Louise Sessions missing from the University of Florida in Gainesville in 1989.

Alachua County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Sims said the remains were found at 21701 NW 52nd Place in Newberry, and were confirmed by detectives and the UF Pound Lab.

On the Florida Department of Law Enforcement website there were two more MPs that aren't recent presumed runaways from Alachua County. They're both missing from Gainesville, though.

Excellent find. I also worry about any non-reported births at the residence. We don't yet know age or sex of victim.
