Found Deceased TN - Rita Eastes, 56, Knox County, 10 Aug 2017

The Knox County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help to find a woman who has been missing since last week.

Deputies say 56-year-old Rita May Eastes was last seen by her daughter on Thursday, August 10.

According to KCSO's Facebook page, Eastes was last seen wearing a pink blouse and traveling in her 2012 silver Kia Sorento SUV with jewels around the license plate.

[h=1]Body found in Tellico believed to be previous missing woman[/h]

KNOXVILLE (WATE) – A body found in Tellico, Tennessee this afternoon is believed to be that of a Knox County woman missing since last week, according to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office.

KCSO says a couple was boating and discovered a body in the water at Poplar Springs boat ramp around 1:00 p.m.
The Loudon County Sheriff’s Office responded and their preliminary investigation indicated that the victim is 56-year-old Rita May Eastes, who had been reported to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office as missing after last being seen by her daughter on August 10th.

body found in Tellico Village on Sunday afternoon is thought to be that of a Knox County woman who was reported missing last week, according to a news release from Knox County Sheriff's Office.

The Loudon County Sheriff's Office responded after a couple, who were boating, discovered the body in the water about 1 p.m. at the Poplar Springs boat ramp, according to the release.
The preliminary investigation identified the body as 56-year-old Rita May Eastes.
Eastes was last seen by her daughter on Aug. 10, according to the release.
The Knox County Regional Forensic Center is examining the body.
Foul play is not suspected, according to the release.
