[h=3]Park ranger finds skeletal human remains at Melvern Lake in Kansas[/h]

The park ranger was doing a routine check about 5:30 p.m. Friday on the north side of Melvern Lake when the skeletal remains were found. The remains were found near the Turkey Point Waterfront Day Use area.

Forensic examination is to be performed on the remains to determine the persons race, age, sex, and cause of death. Washburn University Forensic anthropology experts are assisting with the examination.
