There has been some movement in this case only recently:
A 70-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of a Colorado prosecutor more than 18 years ago.

Robert Williams, 70, was arrested Tuesday and charged in the death of Rebecca Bartee, who died in June 1999, the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said. A reporter from Denver TV station KCNC-TV contacted investigators after receiving a call from a man claiming he lived in the apartment complex when Bartee was murdered.

Williams and Bartee were living in the same apartment complex when Bartee's body was discovered in June 1999. He was still living in the complex when he was arrested Monday, according to CBS Denver.

Case may be nearly solved, but can someone be convicted of a crime with nothing more than one person's testimony 18 years after the crime? IMO, there must be evidence to substantiate the witness's testimony to be an arrest. Right? Why didn't the witness come forward at the time?
