Patricia Steele, also known as Patricia Lay, is missing.

She's 51-years-old, 5'4" and 170 lbs. She has brown hair and green eyes.

Police did not have any information on what she was last wearing, however she is possibly riding a blue bike, pulling a child bike trailer containing her black and white dog.

Officials are concerned because they say Steele has medical and psychological issues and is prescribed medication for both.

She is my age. It seems certain ones are meant to be posted. Hope she and her dog are safe.

I thank all Websleuthers for posting in Aug 2005 when my husband was missing. He was on a bus but authorities stopped him in New Mexico and he was hospitalized untilI went there to bring him home. It was cancer that was
undetected and had spread all thru his body including brain. He was still not diagnosed until the drs found it spread to the liver. Being a kidney transplant patient, his immunity was down, had no anti-rejection drugs for several days and there was no way to treat the cancer. It was on TV and I give thanks to people who posted on crime blogs. He died 6 weeks after diagnosis.

I called WXIX and they have had no word about Critical Missing Patricia Steele or Lay.
Said they would update on website http://www.fox19.com and 11 pm news.

So sorry to hear of the loss of your husband. You never really know what is behind some of these people who go missing. It is so very sad. Glad to hear that you were able to get some help here on WS. Many of people here, myself included often wonder what was the back story when people are found safe. It is not something that anyone must do, because we are happy when they are found. However; it is also nice occasionally to hear how things turned out for the missing and their families. So glad you were able to get him home, even under those tough circumstances.

I have channel 5 and 12 in the background hopefully they will have something.

If I had not got him home he would have died from either lack of kidney meds or the undiagnosed cancer would have progressed. It was a horrible experience and our local P.D spent more time searching our house than calling airlnes, bus station, etc. It was not the main detective who found out he had bought one way ticket to California. I am glad someone was on the ball.

Still no word about missing woman , on TV or in news. It was raining and cold yesterday too.

Bumping for Patricia....
