The Idaho State Journal reports that family members believe the hunters are in the Inman Canyon area, northeast of Inkom, which is southeast of Pocatello.

The hunters were identified as 50-year-old Lonnie Labbee of Pocatello and 28-year-old Andrew Blomquist of Inkom.

Making the search urgent was that Labbee may be experiencing heart problems and might need medical attention.

An emergency helicopter from Portneuf Medical Center was deployed Saturday night to search for the hunters and it was expected to be back in the air on Sunday morning.

Labbee and Blomquist were with a third hunter, Stan Wallerstedt, 69, of Inkom, who was located in a pickup truck in Inman Canyon, the area where the three hunters went bow hunting for deer on Saturday.

Family members said Wallerstedt is OK and was found around 11:30 p.m. Saturday by search and rescue personnel who had been dispatched to find the missing hunters in the Inman Canyon area. Wallerstedt was waiting with the pickup while Labbee and Blomquist went off looking for deer.

Sheriff's deputies and search and rescue units from Bannock and Caribou counties are expected to continue searching for Labbee and Blomquist on the ground overnight — Saturday night through Sunday morning.

Around 8 p.m. Labbee contacted his wife to say that he and Blomquist were lost. Labbee also said his cell phone was nearly out of power and he was having chest pains, according to his family. That was the last anyone heard from either of the hunters.

After receiving the call and not being able to re-connect with him, Labbee's wife reported the hunters missing to the Bannock County Sheriff's Office.
