GUILTY KS - Evan Brewer, 3, Wichita, 6 July 2017

There is nothing concrete linking this with the missing child and I will keep looking for updates.

Police investigate child's suspicious death

On Saturday, September 2, 2017 officers were called to a residence in the 2000 block of south Vine. A property owner cleaning out a rental property alerted police to a suspicious concrete structure emitting an odor in the house.

Police removed the concrete structure from the house and later found the remains of a child, about 3 years old, inside the concrete structure.

Residents of the house, a 40 year old male and 36 year old female, were arrested earlier in the week and are being held in the Sedgwick County Jail on different charges associated with a child custody case.

I'm in this news coverage area, and know a reporter who's likely on this case. If I see any local MSM updates I'll post link (or try to - not sure how to do that on my phone yet).

There's supposed to be a public update given Tuesday morning (per KSN News online story).

Well since Mom has been arrested it's a pretty safe bet that's him. I don't understand people!

KWCH 12

Not real happy with KWCH at the moment. Yes the deduction is obvious, but IMHO they should still wait for official identification to be made before going there publicly.

I know. I had been tossing posting the mom's FB page back and forth because LE didn't name them, but figured I may as well since it was out there.

Even though I don't live there, this is way too close to home. I feel like I want to throw up.

WPD finds 3-year-old boy's remains in concrete structure

Neighbors say they are shocked after a 3-year-old is found dead in a concrete structure.

Fernando says, "It was a green tarp, but you can see a box if you would. Heavy. I hate to say it, but it looked like a small coffin. Cause it was like the size of a toddler bed. But very heavy, took a forklift to get it out of the house."

Apparently evan is the grandson to one of the gubernatorial candidates in ks carl brewer.

She says she's a bat crazy lady who loves her son and the baby coming in 2017.
So is she pregnant, does she have a new baby, did she lose the baby at some point?
Also says she is a stay at home Mom on disability. What disability would that be?
Lupus? Kidney disease? Both? She just wants to spend time with her family. Ya right.

The only person I've seen defending her is her co-defendant. "Bo Diddly" what a name.

After reading het facebook and "in a relationship with" and knowing about Evan all I can do is shake my head.

The Wichita Eagle reports that the landlord was cleaning the house Saturday when he found a concrete structure and noticed an odor coming from it.

Police removed the structure and discovered the remains of a child, possibly 3 years old, inside. One neighbor who spoke to CBS Wichita affiliate KWCH said the structure looked like a small coffin and was very heavy. He said authorities used a forklift to remove it from the home.
Police say a 40-year-old man and 35-year-old woman who lived at the home were arrested last week on separate charges associated with a child custody case. The man was also charged with aggravated assault, reports KWCH. Both are being held in the Sedgwick County Jail.

Police say they have tentatively identified the child, but an official identification will be released through the Sedgwick County Medical Examiner.
