GROVETOWN, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) -- The Grovetown Department of Public Safety is looking for a missing man traveling to the city from South Dakota.
According to a press release William Laymon, 74, was last seen at the KJ's/IGA Market on Wrightsboro road at around Thursday night.
Laymon reportedly called his son from the customer service desk to let him know he had arrived. His son came to pick him up, but investigators say before he got there to pick his father up around fifteen minutes later, Laymon had left the store. His son could not find him.
Laymon was last seen wearing a blue and white striped shirt and khaki shorts. He is 5'11" and around 235 pounds.
Police believe he is driving a black 2016 Jeep Patriot with a South Dakota license plate.
