A desperate search for a missing mother and her 8 year old son, missing for a week. Police say they can’t rule out foul play.

She hasn’t been seen since.

“I just hope that they’re okay and hope that they appear,” said Tonya Clayton, neighbor of Georgia Brown’s mother.

Neighbors are puzzled about the disappearance of Georgia Brown, 48, and her son Karam Govens, Jr., 8.

They were last seen at Georgia’s mother’s home in Port St. Lucie.

Up to now not found anything on Broward LE for the missing.

Interesting is that there is a male person with this name also living in Fort Lauderdale. However, but nothing on his fb about those two.

Brown was driving a silver 2003 Toyota Camry with the Florida license plate number ENS-Q75; a photo of a similar vehicle is posted with this case summary.

Brown had been living in Parkland, Florida, but had moved in with her mother because of some marital problems. According to her mother, Brown got a phone call that night, and seemed "very distressed, frightened" and in a hurry afterwards. She and Karam left at 12:30 a.m., and never arrived at their destination. Her mother reported her missing three days later.

Since her disappearance, Brown's cellular phone has been turned off. Her mother stated it's completely uncharacteristic of her to leave without warning and she fears Brown and Karam met with foul play.

I can't find anything new on this case. Was her 2003 Toyota ever found? Did she go back to the home she shared with her husband or get on a boat with her lover? I've seen rumors but no solid information.
