A MASSIVE search is underway for a Melbourne woman who went for a late-night run with her dog near the Great Ocean Road after the AFL grand final and hasn’t been seen since.

Police are searching for 42-year-old Elisa Curry, who they believe went for a run with her black labrador at 10.30pm on Saturday night in Aireys Inlet, on the coast south of Geelong.

Police today revealed the Surrey Hills mother of three was in contact with her family, who had been to the AFL grand final, about 10.30pm on Saturday.
But when her husband returned to the house on Sunday morning, she could not be found.

42-year-old Elisa Curry has gone missing after heading out for a late night run.

She was last seen at a home on Aireys Street, south-west of Melbourne, at around 10.30pm on Saturday, police said.

Investigators believe Ms Curry may have gone for a run with her black Labrador and become disorientated.

Elisa’s dog is missing too. Hopefully he or she is with Elisa and will alert searchers to their whereabouts.

I wonder which end of Airey’s Street Elisa and her family had their holiday house — north or south of the Great Ocean Road? It’s a busy road at the best of times and cars travel at speed. I’m not sure I’d cross it on foot especially at night.

I wonder if there are any cliffs in the area.

In this article there is a pinned map which may indicate exactly where the house is.

South of the Great Ocean Rd; yes. North/north west there’s scrub from memory and a creek. Look west on the map around Fairhaven. The area is ‘built up’ either side of the Great Ocean Road but the further out it’s hinterland.

There is a twitter post from a nine reporter showing a helicopter searching. I can't for the life of me work out how to post it..... Anyway where it was looking there appeared to be cliffs which I guess opens the possibility of her falling and then being washed out to sea.

Just a thought.

The mother-of-three was last seen by her neighbour at 10.30pm on Saturday.

So who exactly is this neighbor, and where was she last seen?

I am getting a little freaked with flashbacks of Karen Chetcuti.
:(

The neighbour was the last to see her.

Vic Police are now stating that she didn't necessarily go for a run.

"She's a devoted, loving mother," neighbour Robin Briggs told 9NEWS.
"I couldn’t believe how she just disappeared so quickly," she said.
"I saw her on Saturday before I went to work and that's the last time I've seen her."
Family have been too distraught to speak.

OK - I posted that before I saw your post, and before I watched the video!
So this BR neighbor is the same one as the last one to see her?
Inside the house? Outside the house?
I hate when there's not enough info in the articles...
