El Paso County sheriff's detectives are investigating the disappearance of a 19-year-old woman who was about eight months pregnant when she went missing in June.


Angel Marie Avalos was last seen June 3 when she attended the Tornillo High School graduation with her boyfriend, the Sheriff's Office said in a news release Tuesday.

Avalos has not contacted her family since then, officials said.


Avalos has a mole on the left side of her face, a tongue piercing and a tattoo of "Monica" in cursive on her left chest, the Sheriff's Office said.

Anyone with information on Avalos may call the detectives at 538-2291 or 208-3007.

Thanks for starting a thread for Angel! One correction though, this is El Paso County in Texas, not Colorado. Tornillo is about 30 minutes from me.

On another note, why in the world did it take 4 months to ask for help in locating a missing pregnant woman? Sigh.
 
Did the boyfriend go missing as well? What is the likelihood they went to Mexico to have the baby, since the cost there is a fraction of what it is in the US? That said Juarez is not a safe place to be.

EL PASO, Texas - EL Paso County Sheriffs are searching for a missing 19-year-old woman who was eight months pregnant the last time she was seen.

What does that mean, at-the-time boyfriend. If that was the last time she was seen, he's her current boyfriend. Weird terminology.

Makes me wonder if the boyfriend said they broke up that day and he hasn't seen her since, either. I think all of our minds would go the same direction if that's the case.

Missing Tornillo teen's boyfriend person of interest in her disappearance, officials say


“We did not name any suspects because, as of now, we have no crime. There needs to be some proof of death for a murder investigation,” said a Sheriff's Office spokesperson via email.
The boyfriend’s last known place of residence is in Mexico, which makes it difficult for investigators to contact him, according to the Sheriff's Office.

She’s still missing? :( I know a lot of people won’t believe me but she used to live in Minnesota before she moved to Texas. We used to go to elementary and middle school together. She was the sweetest and kindness girl. My heart dropped when A mutral friend shared a post on Facebook about her being reported missing. At that time I was like since when she moved to Texas? but I prayed she would be sound safe. But years go by and still haven’t been found. After a year her being missing I watched a interview of her mother pleading and crying to hopefully reunite with Angel. Literally like last year I remembered In one of my dreams, I dreamed about Angel. I don’t know if it’s a sign that she’s alive or something but it sucks 5 years later no updates on her. I’m just praying her and her baby is found safe. It’s gives me chills that a friend from back in elementary/ middle school just vanished. I hope this case won’t go cold. I hope the power of social media can bring her home
