Longtime Cupertino resident William Bill Miller is missing, according to the Santa Clara County Sheriffs Office.
Miller, 81, was last seen by his neighbors on Oct. 5. According to the sheriffs office, Miller lives alone on Clifford Drive.
On Oct. 12 a longtime friend and neighbor of Millers contacted the sheriffs office West Valley division to report Miller missing. The neighbor told deputies that Millers mail and newspapers were piling up at the residence, and Miller had not been seen around the residence in a few days.
According to the sheriffs offices, deputies searched Millers home and did not find any clues as to Millers whereabouts.
Miller is described as a Caucasian man, standing at 5 feet, 9 inches tall and weighing nearly 160 pounds. He is balding with some gray hair and has hazel eyes.
Since Millers disappearance, the sheriffs office has canvassed several areas, contacted local hospitals and alerted law enforcement agencies throughout the state about his disappearance.
