Angel Jimenez De La Cruz was last seen Wednesday in Rio Hondo near Brownsville. Police said they are also searching for woman in connection with his disappearance. De La Cruz is 4 foot 7, 100 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes and was last seen wearing a red shirt and blue jeans. Police believe the suspect may be driving a silver or gray four-door Ford sedan with unknown plates. Police said they believe De La Cruz is in "grave or immediate danger."

Rio Hondo ISD police said the suspect is an unknown Hispanic woman who was driving a gray or silver newer Ford four-door car with unknown plates.

They were reportedly last seen in the Rio Hondo area.

Child, 10, reported missing was in care of his mother; Amber Alert discontinued

UPDATE at 10:30 a.m.: Authorities with the Rio Hondo ISD now say Jimenez de la Cruz is in the care of his mother. The district said the confusion started when a strange woman picked the child up at school. They now say the stranger was his mother. The Amber Alert has been discontinued.
