A shooting with 'multiple parties' down has been reported at a Walmart in the Denver area.

Thornton police are responding to the store location on Grant Street which is south of 102nd Street in the town that's located just outside of Denver.
Authorities say there are multiple injuries. It's unclear if anyone has died or if the shooter has been taken into custody.

One witness reported online that there had been 'many shots fired'.
Police have closed the roads near the store and are asking the public to avoid the area.

The Walmart is located in the Thornton Town Center which includes multiple restaurants and stores.

A domestic dispute ??
So someone thought to settle it with violence ?
Some people are nuts.:gaah:

Sad that lives were lost ; sometimes you have to walk away from a situation.
Seems like dealing with it in a peaceful manner is the hardest way ... but it's the best choice.
If that's what happened.

I am anxious to find out if he has mental issues or just evil. How horrible for all these families. I hope he is caught very soon.

From The Heavy (a picture of arrest at link):

According to 9News, Ostrem has been in trouble with the law over the years. “Scott Ostrem has a criminal history dating back to 1990 including harassment, multiple DUIs and disorderly conduct,” one of the station’s reporters wrote on Twitter. “According to court records, Ostrem declared bankruptcy in 2015, but he does not have a lengthy criminal record. In 2013, he was arrested for driving while ability impaired,” The Denver Post reported. Photos circulated of police towing his car away from the arrest scene.
