[h=1]Human remains found in Flint park, police say[/h]
FLINT, MI -- Multiple police agencies are investigating after human remains were found Tuesday afternoon at Broome Park on the city's south side.

Michigan State Police Lt. David Kaiser confirmed law enforcement are combing over the park off Atherton Road. A Genesee County Sheriff's deputy blocked off the park's entrance.

More than two dozen police officers, detectives, and a Michigan State Police K-9 unit have responded to the scene.
Ed Benning, MTA general manager, said a maintenance person that cleans out bus shelters had stopped off to buy a sandwich near the park on his lunch break "and noticed something and called to report it."
Flint resident James Beatty, who was also at the park Tuesday, didn't quite believe what he'd seen after coming upon what he described as two human skulls -- one in the parking lot and one in a field near a baseball diamond.
The 49-year-old Beatty walks his dogs in the park on a regular basis and had not spotted the remains prior to Tuesday morning. Once coming upon the remains, he knew what he'd seen.

[h=1]Police, FBI agents swarm Flint park after discovery of human remains[/h]
Flint police confirmed the incomplete remains of two people were found in Broome Park. During a news conference Wednesday officials said their investigation has spread over the entire park grounds and across the street to include the grounds of Southwestern Academy.

The FBI is on the scene, providing an "evidence response team."

Police said it would take forensic analysis to identify the remains. The Genesee County Medical Examiner will be conducting the autopsy.
Neighbors said a number of young women have disappeared from the area, and they're deeply concerned that there have now been body parts found at the park.

Police found two sets of incomplete remains, but they have no further information as to any possible identity. Reports indicate the remains are in such a condition that officials can’t tell if they’re male or female.

It’s also unclear how long the remains may have been at the park.
Investigators used K-9 dogs to search through the park and a nearby schoolyard Wednesday, but they didn’t appear to find anything related to the deaths.

Thursday night state police released a statement confirming they are attempting to gather dental records, DNA , and other biometrics to ID the human remains found in the park, and that no identifications have been made as of yet. "It's not about her lifestyle," said Rau during a search for her daughter on September 8th, "she's loved, her family and kids need her."

Thank you Momma2cam. That's a much more respectful article. I hope the families have their answers soon. I'm hoping, for their sake, there's nothing worse than just some accidental deaths going on.

One of the people could possibly be Coral Pearl Hall. Missing since 1998. Her body has never been found... :(

I forgot to say that she lived very close to this park her house was not far away at all to the location

Hi Melissa, can you get in contact with the detective that worked Corals case and ask if she is being considered as a possible match?

It's hard for me to imagine how these could be Coral and have not been found much sooner, unless they were previously buried? And perhaps recently unearthen somehow? IDK, I'm leaning more toward these not belonging to Coral, but it wouldn't hurt to inquire with the detective.

Yeah I’ll call Hosmer and let u know, and I know it’s probably not Coral but just wishful thinking. That one of them could be her....

I wish it was her too. I just think it's likely the same person placed both sets of remains at the park, which would make it almost impossible to be Coral.

I talked to Hosmer, he said that the remains of the two women were not Coral, he did say that they were identified, but did not elaborate on who they were other than that they were missing prostitutes. Apparently there have been a string of missing prostitutes from Fenton rd in Flint. Which I have heard the rumor prior to him telling me about the rumor.
