From Channel 4 article: ...Police said Lillian suffers from mental illness. Both have made comments about wanting to die, police said, and Timothy has attempted to run away in the past...

Suicide pact?
 
I think a suicide pact sounds likely, too. I wonder if they've been able to go through either one of their computers and social media, to see if they sent any messages planning where they would go & how they would do it. Since it has been a very small amount of time since they were reported missing, I presume it might not be done yet. I hope they just ran away to escape for a little bit and that they'll be back home soon.
 
I went to school with him in Shanghai, China. He told us all that he was depressed and hated Michigan after moving back. Always talked about how he wanted to build a boat and come back to Shanghai. That's probably the reason why he ran away.
 
The teens used an ATM at around 11 p.m., and are believed to be in a town outside of Toledo, Ohio.

ROSSFORD, OH (WTOL) -
Michigan State Police are searching for two 16-year-olds who were last seen outside of Toledo on Saturday night.*

Police say Timothy Weber and Lillian Nguyen used an ATM at the Stop and Shop*on 904 Dixie Highway in Rossford around 11 p.m.*

According to police, Weber was last seen on Canton Center Road in Plymouth Township and Nguyen was last seen in Canton Township. However, police say*Nguyen's phone was last pinged in Huron Township...*

Look he wasn't suicidal, his girlfriend is the only one who is really depressed, everybody else that moved away from China with him at their lowest was just fed up with their situation. Most likely with his girlfriend's influence, he decided to finally act out as he gets very attached to girls pretty easily, no way in hell would he do something as stupid as a suicide pact, however planning this out carefully as to not be found is not out of the question. We just need to find a defined motive and he's practically found. Attending school with him and talking with him after we moved to America he was able to put up with it, just like the rest of us who moved from China.

Two runaway teens who fled their homes in Canton and Plymouth Township have been found safe in Alabama, Canton Township Police announced in a release late Tuesday.

In a brief statement, police announced that Lillian Le Nguyen of Canton and Timothy Michael Weiber of Plymouth Township "have been located safe in Alabama."

"The families are looking forward to being united with their children," the statement read. "The Canton Police Department would like to thank everyone for their assistance." ...

I'm glad the teens were found and are safe. Once they are reunited with their families, I hope both will receive whatever counseling/treatment is necessary.
