51-year-old Wichita man killed in drive-by shooting

[....]

Wichita police Lt. Todd Ojile said the victim, a 51-year-old Wichita man, went to the house to visit its residents. He doesn’t live on the street.

A vehicle pulled up while the man was outside. Words were exchanged and shots were fired from the vehicle, Ojile said.

The man was hit once. When police arrived, they found him lying in the street. He was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead just before 2:30 a.m., Ojile said.

No one else was outside at the time of the shooting and police don’t have a description of the vehicle.

Ojile said the shooting was not random and isn’t drug or gang related.

I am posting this because we know Todd. Baby Boy and Todd's son were best friends and spent hours upon hours together when they were younger. My heart just hurts for Todd's son and Todd's mother. I hope LE figures this out very fast. :(

so very sad and seemingly senseless... no one deserves this. Sad for you and your son, PP, and all those who knew and loved Todd.

RIH Todd.

I am waiting for more information. As far as I knew, Todd was not a drug user so I am not sure where the syringe comes into play and LE previously stated it was not drug related. I am also curious about the gun and whether it was Todd's or the shooter's as the article says nothing about finding a gun with Honeycutt.
