He left the house he shared with his parents, two sisters and brother-in-law to drive to his job at Storm Products, an electronics manufacturer in Woodridge, Illinois. He had only been working there for about two weeks. Luu never arrived at work and has never been heard from again. His vehicle, a dark gray 1992 Nissan Maxima with the Illinois license plate number 335 6037, is also missing. Luu moved from his native Vietnam to the United States about seven years before his disappearance. He and his family had lived in Berwyn for about fifteen months by the time he went missing. He attended Senn High School and Truman College, and worked at a pizza restaurant for a time before he took the job at Storm Products. Luu is described as a reclusive person with few friends. He didn't own a cellular phone or any credit cards and he didn't have a bank account. His case remains unsolved.

Namus says this UID had a moustache...based on a sole sample of 2 (Asian hubby and Asian adopted son) plus 25+ years of living/working in Asia I'd say there are very few boys at the lower end of this age range (14-20yo) that have any kind of facial hair. Also I note Namus does not say Asian now, but has a variety of race/ethnicity markers.

Unfortunately since this is cook county I’m not the least surprised that’s they messed up the ethnicity.

Namus case was updated last month but I cant see what has changed. Still no ruleout list.
