I wonder if he told someone he was going for a walk or is in the habit of walking daily?

Reports stated 57-year-old Dennis Clark was last seen on Thanksgiving when he went for a walk around 4 p.m.

Great question - I was wondering the same thing.

This is just baffling. This is not a remote area. Cool Springs is packed with people.

One Facebook post that I found said he needs medical attention. If he had some medical episode, this just doesn't seem like the type of place he would not be found if incapacitated.

There is some vacant land behind his home, as well as a golf course nearby. It's possible that he may have taken a walk on the cart path of the golf course, which would be relatively unused at this time of year. I've heard some walkers/runners do this in general, though I'm not sure if this applies to this specific course or not (Nashville Golf Club).

There is a lot of new construction, both commercial and residential, around this area. Could have gone inside a property to explore and had an accident, perhaps. With the holiday and then a weekend, it could be that no construction workers have visited those properties since thanksgiving.

It gets dark in this area around 4:30. So at 4 at may have been 'broad daylight', but by 5 it would have been dark.

So many possibilities, though given the time of day, location and circumstances, it's very strange that he just vanished.

Tip From Jogger Helps Find Missing Franklin Man

Responding officers began canvassing that area on foot and found Clark laying in the bushes where he may have experienced a medical emergency. An ambulance transported Clark to the hospital where he has been reunited with his family.

The Franklin Police Department credits the news media and the jogger who called police for finding Mr. Clark alive.
