Missoula Police have confirmed to MTN News that they found a box containing bones and teeth, believed to be from three children, in a Missoula shed in September.

A search warrant obtained by MTN News shows that police were called to the home on Sept. 27 located on the 2100 block of South 12th Street West for a report of the discovery of possible human remains.

The former tenant of the rental property had been evicted the previous week. A cleaning crew was contracted to clean up the items left behind by the evicted renter. That’s when the cleaning crew found a box in a shed on the property that contained what was suspected human remains.

"Loose teeth, there was what appeared to be bone from a lower jaw, and others that were not as specifically described, but I would call them pieces of bone," said Missoula Police Sgt. Travis Welsh. "There were also rocks in this box."

Welsh says it is not uncommon for police to check out reports about discovered bones.

Apologies if there is already a thread I don’t normally post in this section of the forum but I appreciate how vitally important your efforts are. I hope they find out who these poor children are, how they died and who is responsible.

Oh dear, this is horrible to hear. I did a crude Google search for results about three children missing, and the weird thing is that all three estimated age ranges match this case:

I seriously doubt a connection here, but just had to point out the coincidence. Finding out who the evicted renter(s) was would be a good place to start here.

The story was updated : there's a person of interest. Wonder if it's the former tenant?

wow
and no word yet on ages of the victims?

Found some facebook accounts that might be connected to this, based on the information of who lived in that house prior. Going through pictures, and posts, but man, it's rough going.

The only two listed children that young missing from Montana (non-parental abduction) are Megan Ginevicz and Nyleen Marshall

How horrifying.

The first that came to my mind was the Skelton brothers.

Not because of geography, of course, but the age ranges fit.

Well, I don't know if the last people that lived there were involved in this but I dug around and it seems pretty tumultuous a few years ago, and with the courts being involved as well. Hope the investigators are looking into that entire group of people, tbh.

Well, good to see that they've already gotten Namus involved. Let's keep an eye out there to see if they show up.

On another note, the actual owner of this property can be identified by going here...

https://gis.missoulacounty.us/propertyinformation/

...and entering the address into the search. The owner's name also appears in the Spokeo result in above posts, but the tax records show their mailing address to be outside of Missoula, so I don't believe they actually live there. One can also click on "doc" to generate a history of the property which shows a transfer from an estate; it appears that one person from the Spokeo result has passed away.

One of the former tenets mentions a daughter that passed away as a child due to an electrical accident. It's on her facebook, so I can't post it, but I also can't find an obituary or grave for that child. If someone does the genealogy/family tree stuff and can check this out, can you please pm me?

Do we know a possible time of death? Or gender?

The first case I thought of was siblings Sarena Glenn, and twins Brent and Brenttany Hughes missing in 1996. The oldest is 11, and twins are 4 year old.
