Found Deceased OH - James Dann, 60, Lorain County, 6 Dec 2017

Family members haven’t heard from James C. Dann, 60, in nearly a week, and Lorain County Sheriff’s deputies last saw Dann on Dec. 6. His phone has been powered off and unused since at least Nov. 30, and his wallet and ID are still at his West Ridge Road home.

Dann is five feet, five inches tall, weighing about 110 pounds, and has gray hair and hazel eyes. He is not described as dangerous, but has issues with confusion and paranoia.

I didn't, either, but that photo in the last article sure looks like a mugshot.

Body found appears to be Elyria man missing since December

A body found April 1 in the Black River appears to be an Elyria man who had been missing since December.

According to a news release from Elyria police, Lorain police and fire recovered a body in the river near 1901 Henderson Drive on April 1. The body had been discovered by someone who had been riding an all-terrain vehicle in the area. No identification was found on the body, which was identified through DNA as James C. Dann, who had been reported missing by a family member in Elyria on Dec. 11, who said they hadn’t heard from Dann in six days.

There were no signs of foul play at his home, and police said there were no signs of foul play on the body. The Lorain County Coroner’s Office is investigating to determine a casue of death.
