The identity of KR is being released pursuant to a judge’s order made under Section 110, subsection 4, of the Youth Criminal Justice Act. The authority to publish the identity of a young person ceases after 5 days or apprehension of the young person.

All media is responsible to remove all information associated to this young person at that time.

There will be an increased police presence in the area of Falcon Drive, Elmira.

There are Reasonable Grounds to arrest KR, 17, for 2nd degree murder in relation to this death. Alder and KR were known to each other.

KR is described as white, 5’10. 140 lbs, with dirty blond curly hair. He was last seen wearing a grey jacket with fur around the hood, black track pants and a black Adidas knapsack.

Sigh. Another young kid being sought for a murder. Reminds me of the Logan case. Jmo.

Local chatter, my cousin is at Walmart and a teenager is surrounded by police cars. The Wal-Mart is in St.Jacobs which is super close to Elmira. Could be nothing related but is odd nonetheless that so may officers in a Wal Mart Parking lot. Jmo.

Yes it has to be her son. The obituary says one of her sons is named Kurt Reichart so I googled his name with the word "wanted" and it came up on world news. Not in Canada so no ban and it has his picture and is the name of the wanted person. She was a friend of my friend who could not find info so I sleuthed.
