This case of a murdered man in Brisbane, Queensland could be about to get rather complicated. The "pillar of the community" father, husband and restauranter was allegedly lured from his home in the middle of the night after the power was cut to his house. He was bludgeoned to death.

Seems his public life was not terribly accurate. Turns out he had 2 wives, both with children and he had an unpleasant reputation with tradesmen. Police have no immediate leads.

A robber who cut off the electricity to a house in Brisbane's south-west overnight attacked the resident with a hammer as he came outside to investigate the blackout.

The house on Japonica Street in Inala was plunged into darkness about 11.30pm and when the occupant came out, he was struck on the head with a hammer.

Some similarities though different weapon used. Inala is about 15km from Kuraby. An outside chance that they're related.

There is now a two hundred and fifty thousand reward on offer in this case.

My best bet - police have already interviewed or otherwise spoken to the killer, maybe even have somebody in mind for it. The best angle must be the complicated personal life and enemies acquired through that right?
Terrifying MO though, really chilling.
