GUILTY FL - Alan Shalleck, 76, stabbed to death, Boynton Beach, 6 Feb 2006

Sad. I hope we find out what happened. Damn sicko psychos runnin' around these days.

Oh, I love Curious George and so do my girls. Two years running, I dressed up like Curious George for Halloween when I was little. Sad. Condolences to his family.

Odd that this happend around the time of the release of the new movie.

Very sad :( :( he was 76... I wish I knew more about this story..

Oh man, that's sad. I loved Curious George...and even had a few of the sock George's! That is weird that it's at a time when the movie is coming out.

I wouldn't call this guy the 'co-creator' of Curious George. He was a telvision producer who brought the character to children's television. H.A. Rey was the creator of Curious George, and he's been dead for decades.

Regardless, he played a big part of bringing Curious George to the public, and doesn't change the fact that his death is a tragedy.
