"Click2Houston reported several other very disturbing details about the case: “Roland’s roommate, Autumn Vara, told KPRC that Roland texted her about a suspicious man she saw in Walgreens who was following her. Vara said he followed Roland to her home in a blue truck as she was parked in the driveway. Vara said the blue truck looped back around and parked behind her and Roland got out of her car and the truck sped off. Vara said Roland and her was suppose to meet up, but Vara didn’t hear from her again.”

On Sunday, the television station added, “Roland’s mother received a text from her phone saying, ‘hello the owner of this phone Courtney. I am buying an iPad.'” According to Click2Houston, “Vara also said Roland’s vehicle was broken into six weeks ago and she’s been on high-alert since.”"

*hopefully HPD can release some images from the Walgreens to the public

"Social media has since filled up with more prayers for Roland from fans and friends as the hours tick away, and people grow increasingly concerned. There is dispute online as to whether she was last seen in an Uber or another vehicle. However, it now appears that the last vehicle Roland was in was her own Jeep Cherokee."

Looks like they cleared up the uber thing. She was last seen in her own vehicle? Or at least assumed to be driving around in her own late model silver Jeep Cherokee.

I'm seeing a discrepancy here on the year of the vehicle (2010 vs 2015), as well as color (white vs silver; see posts #5 and #9; those posts contain the license plate so perhaps they are correct?):

"HOUSTON - A Texas A&M football reporter went missing Saturday after covering Texas elite football camp in the Heights area, her family says.

Courtney Roland, 29, a sports reporter for AggieYell.com, was last seen around 4 p.m. wearing a Remington hat and camouflage. She drives a 2010 white Jeep Cherokee."

I wonder if there is a photo of her actual vehicle on SM...?
Hopefully one will be released soon.

I hope she's found safe.
I wonder if le was able to get the stores video?
Does she have an ex?
A obsessed fan comes to mind. Maybe they saw her on TV.

Many, many possibilities at this point with the little information released.

I don't think I've seen her height and weight anywhere. Is she 5'2 and barely 100 lbs? Make her easier to overpower.

So, trying to wrap my head around all this, Courtney:

"went missing Saturday after covering Texas elite football camp in the Heights area, her family says."

"she left in an Uber and hasn't been heard from since."

"was last seen around 4 p.m."
"Last seen late evening Jan 6th in the Heights"

"She sent her roommate a text that she was being followed by suspicious man who then followed her in a blue truck."
"According to a Facebook post, She communicated with a friend through text at 12:30 a.m. on Sunday and was worried "that she was being followed by a blue truck leaving Walgreens" but the location is unknown."

Her facebook:
In progress

Do we know that she actually sent the text? I wonder if the blue truck could be a red herring. (Just a random thought at this moment as we are learning new information.)

My thoughts were how little she appears when I posted the 2nd photo on post #9.

Looking for an official height and weight still...

So creepy, but I hope the text might provide some sort of lead for LE. Hoping to hear she's located safe.
