Borough and state police and Monmouth County sheriff's officers searched the Shark River Sunday and Monday for a missing Lake Como man.
Family members reported 56-year-old Mark Ritter missing Sunday afternoon, police said. His car was found at the Belmar Marina.
The sheriff's office's Maritime Emergency Response Team and K-9 Unit, NJSP Marine Unit and Aviation Bureau, Belmar First Aid and Belmar Department of Public Works responded to the marina along with police, police said.
The search was suspended at 6 p.m. Sunday and resumed 8 a.m. Monday, police said.
