Curry County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance to locate 34-year-old Tyler Batch from Port Orford.
Batch was reported missing on Saturday by Wanda Coker after she loaned her gold 1999 Dodge Stratus to Batch on Tuesday, January 9. He has not been seen him since then.

After search and rescue crews from Curry County and Coos County went looking for Batch along forest road NF3353 near Laird Lake, they found the car broken down with jumper cables in the front seat, according to Melba Lambright - Batch's ex-wife and mother to their 11-year-old son.

"Normally, when he does do this thing where he, you know, likes to drive out in the middle of nowhere, he really doesn't normally say anything before he leaves," Lambright said. "He just leaves, but he always comes back."
Lambright suspects he may have tried to walk out of the forest or gotten a ride with somebody else because of the jumper cables found in the front seat.
Batch is described as about 6-feet-tall, 190 pounds with brown hair, hazel eyes, and a full beard. He was last seen wearing a gray hoodie, jeans, and possibly a tan army style jacket. He is said to be in good health.
Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Curry County Sheriff's Office.
