Police and family of a Detroit man missing since Dec. 1 are asking for help from the public to help find him.

Robert Rice, 39, was last seen by his childs mother around 11 p.m. on that Friday leaving his the home on Hartwell Street to get food.

That was the last time Rice was seen.

Hes described as 6 feet tall, with a heavy build and uses a cane to walk. He was wearing all black clothing and was driving a green 2000 Ford Explorer.

Last seen December 1????? weird that only now it's in the news. Wonder what's up on so many levels. Gosh, I don't even know what to say. How does it take that long to sound the alarm?

RUMOR: there is a go fund me acct and comments from his brother that Robert had gone into the hospital on 11/30 and passed on 12/17 from a heart attack. There was confusion when family called hospitals etc looking for him. I have not found an obit on him yet but his service was yesterday according to comments. AGAIN, putting this out there as a RUMOR only until it can be confirmed.
