The Deschutes County Sheriff's Office sought help from the public Thursday in finding a missing Redmond man who could need medical care.

John Stanton Douglas, 60, last was seen going to Sonic to get lunch in Redmond on around noon on Wednesday, Jan. 10, Lt. Chad Davis said.

Douglas left his home in a 2000 white Ford F-250 extended cab truck bearing Oregon license plate 788 KCU. The sheriff's office provided a DMV photo of Douglas and one of a similar pickup.

Douglas is described as a white male, 6-foot-2 and weighing 220 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. Douglas was last seen wearing a green Carhartt jacket, blue jeans, shoes and a hat.

Douglas has been known to frequent the Three Creeks Road area of Sisters and "could be in need of medical attention," Davis said.

Anyone with any information on the whereabouts or any sightings of Douglas is asked to contact the Deschutes County Sheriff's Office at 541-693-6911.

FRIDAY AFTERNOON UPDATE: John Douglas was located in Washington State in good condition and has been cleared as a missing person. His family has also been notified.
