Identified! FL - Fort Pierce Inlet - Headless Female Body, Feb 2006 - Barbara Fornell, 52

Oh my, I wonder if this is Dori Myers.

A little more details at this link http://www.tcpalm.com/tcp/local_news/article/0,2545,TCP_16736_4469444,00.html

A St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office report said the body "appears to be a female" and was "in an advanced state of decomposition." The report said the body was missing its head, right leg and right arm. The body was clothed in blue jeans, a blue-striped shirt, green underwear and a purple bra.

Just heard on the news that a headless woman was also found in North Carolina cut into four pieces. They think she had been dead a couple of weeks. Don't know where-I think around Charlotte.

oh my!
Gross!
People can be so sick!

Recently, a head was found in Jupiter, some other body parts like a foot were found too the north of Fort Pierce. There is also a man missing, they found the boat adrift. Who knows who this is, the female clothing is a little odd because its cool on the water this time of year, and they mentioned no jacket.

And on Feb. 4, a Cirrus SR-22 single-engine plane that had just taken off from Witham Field in Stuart crashed about a mile off Hutchinson Island east of Gilbert's Bar House of Refuge in Martin County. On board were the pilot, Glen Fornell, 67, and his wife, Barbara, 52, both of Jupiter, and Mario Alberto Castillo-Zavala, 32, of Honduras.

The bodies of the crash victims have yet to be recovered. Sheriff's Office spokesman Mark Weinberg declined to speculate Wednesday whether the body found Tuesday could be that of Barbara Fornell, saying the case was still under investigation.

A decomposed body recovered from the ocean about 20 miles northeast of Fort Pierce Tuesday has been identified as that of a Palm Beach County woman missing in a Feb. 4 plane crash.

Barbara Fornell, 52, was a passenger in a four-seat Cirrus SR22 piloted by her husband, Glen, 67, when it crashed about three miles offshore from the House of Refuge on the south end of Hutchinson Island

Identified so quickly. I wish other cases moved along that way.

Prayers for the family and friends.

How sad. The couple probably have kids who have been living in hell since the plane went down. I'm glad it wasn't another chopped up body. Makes me cringe everytime we hear something like this.

The bodies of the two remaining victims of the Feb. 4 plane crash that killed three were apparently found Friday in about 50 feet of water near where the plane went down, about a mile off Jensen Beach, officials said.

After a salvage company hired by the insurance company discovered the remains of the single-engine four-passenger Cirrus, the Martin County Sheriff's Office Dive Team responded and found the bodies.
