This case is several months old, but it desperately needs more attention. Throughout mid to late 2017, and possibly as early as 2016, there was a serial killer targeting homeless men in Albuquerque, NM. All three 2017 victims were stabbed, left in similar positions, and found in open, deserted areas during the early hours of the morning. Police believe these cases are likely linked, and also noted that the victims clothes were left in a similar condition, but did not elaborate.

The victims are:

-Eric Manning, age 37, found on May 20 in the middle of the North Diversion Channel off Montgomery and Interstate 25.

-Lonnie Whittle, age 51, found on August 9 in a vacant warehouse parking lot off Broadway near Mountain NE.

- Eric Hicks, age 33, like Eric Manning, was also found by the North Diversion Channel, though Hicks' body was found south of Candelaria near Richmond.

POSSIBLE 2016 VICTIM:

-Clifford Miller, age 42 found stabbed, beheaded, castrated, and left behind a dumpster behind a Walmart in December of 2016

Police are also apparently investigating the possibility that the murder of Audra Willis, age 39, may be a part of this series.
She was found decapitated, mutilated, and dumped in a sandy arroyo at Winterwood and Autumn Wood SE in the Four Hills neighborhood of Albuquerque on Dec 23, 2017. Willis was not homeless at the time of her murder, but she apparently lived a transient lifestyle.

Investigators say Willis's death may not be a completely isolated incident. They say there's a possibility her death could be connected to a string of three others, all homeless men who were stabbed along I-25.

That means that there could be up to 5 victims, with the killer targeting both men and women. Also mods, could I change the title? With up to five victims of both genders spanning two years, it no longer really applies now that I've dug up more info on this case.
