LOVELOCK, Nev. (KOLO)
January 15, 2018, dispatch received a report of an abandoned 2016 Ford Fiesta in the White Horse Canyon area, in an area usually only accessible to 4-wheel-drive vehicles. Deputies confirmed it appeared to be out of place, but did not find any evidence of foul play. There were no items found in the car to show any occupant had any food or gear to sustain life in the environment there. Based on this information, a search for the owner of the vehicle, Lisa Maria Del Campo, was initiated.

According to family members, it was unusual for her to be in an area outside of a populated city. The family went into the Winnemucca area and found Del Campo had stayed the night at the Motel 6 January 8 and 9, and checked out on the 10th. The Pershing County Sheriffs Office has no information on her whereabouts for the time between January 10 and the 14th, and is requesting any assistance with any information regarding that.
Using information found in the car, investigators found Del Campo had been on the way to Los Angeles, and tracked her movements using information from her bank card. Evidence shows Lisa Maria made it south of Modesto, then for an unknown reason turned and started to head east, with her last known transactions being in Winnemucca. There was also information extracted from her cell phone regarding a possible trip to an unknown destination in New York.
