Brenda's senior photo can be found on Classmates in the 1972 Butler High School (Vandalia, OH) yearbook.

She resembles Riverside Jane Doe. There's no picture in NamUs but if you google her, you'll find a PM picture. They don't have matching identifiers. I'll submit this to NamUs. (this has since been done).

Sadly, Brenda only has DNA available, and Riverside JD only has fingerprints, so there's probably not much they can do.

I'm not sure if exhumation is a possibility in this case, because CA was notorious for cremating their unidentified remains. I don't know if she were buried or cremated.

In a previous reply from Dustin about a different comparison to this set of remains, this is what he told me:

We usually have to wait for exhumations, and sometimes that does not happen due to funding complications. Sometimes cannot even be compared, which is sad because some of them are likely matches.

Very interesting, this caught my eye..

She has a well healed 5" scar on her right forearm and a 1" well healed scar on her upper right arm

She appeared well groomed with manicured fingernails, a recent haircut and nice clothing

Super weird that there is very VERY little details on Brenda online or in reports and that family believes that they last saw her about 1980, maybe 1981??? and they presume her hair color to be brown?
Oh interesting note...she is from Ohio, reported as missing from Ohio, but had moved to California in high school and this doe Namis #17089 was possibly to be traveling to see her mother in California, found 2 years before Brenda went missing, however if the family doesn't for sure know when they saw her last...its possible

She could be Eklunta Annie or the Eklunta Jane Doe.

I did a picture overlap of the two and their facial features match up really well. The Eklunta Jane Doe was found by Ancourage, Alaska but was presumed to be from California or Washington. The Eklunta Doe also was said to have light brown hair. Brenda’s and her weight and height are in the same ranges aswell.
