‘What's more uncomfortable than stepping on errant Lego during an early morning dash to the bathroom?

Being woken up by the police at 2am as they raid your house looking for the popular toy would not be the best alarm clock either.

In what would make an interesting plot for another instalment of The Lego Movie franchise, NSW Police have charged two people and located 47 boxes of Lego that were reported missing from a number of retail stores near Botany Bay on Saturday afternoon.

After building a case overnight, police conducted a pre-dawn swoop on a house in Vineyard in Sydney's west where the missing items were successfully seized.’

‘The pair, according to a NSW Police spokesperson, did not appear to be using the loot to establish their own Legoland as the goods did not appear to be "damaged".’
