ALBANY City detectives are searching for a 19-year-old woman who has not been seen since Monday evening, as her parents scramble to find clues explaining her disappearance.
Family members reported Julieana Boesse missing on Thursday morning, Albany police spokesman Officer Steve Smith said.
About two hours later, officers found her 2003 Honda Civic parked behind Townsend Park Homes, said Tracey Boesse, the missing woman's father.
The building, located at the corner of Central Avenue and Henry Johnson Boulevard, is a low-income senior living facility run by Albany Housing Authority.
Tracey Boesse said police reviewed city camera footage and told him the person who left the car there was not his daughter.
Inside the trunk, Tracey Boesse said he found a bottle of Hennessy cognac and men's clothing covered in dirt details he said frighten him deeply. His daughter does not drink or have a boyfriend, he said.
Julieana Boesse was last seen at about 9:30 p.m. Monday leaving a friend's house on South Pearl Street, her father said. She was headed to her cousin's house in South Troy but never arrived and has not contacted any family or friends since, he said.
Anyone with information on Julieana Boesse's whereabouts is asked to call Albany detectives at 518-462-8039.
