It is Southwest Springfield ( near me unfortunately) and the Springfield 3 went missing not far from this location.

No I sure don't and then the skeleton this morning on the news did not mention an actual address. I will continue to follow up

WKY3 is reporting that it appears the person died where they were found. Police says there are no "clear" signs of foul play.

Says workers at a nearby health care center found the body. I hope its not an elderly person.

There is a Magnolia Square Nursing Home nearby. This area is right off of Kansas Expressway/ 13 Hwy

Human Remains Discovered in Springfield

UPDATE (2:50 p.m.): The human remains found in West Springfield Monday were determined by Springfield police to be a suicide victim.

Lisa Cox with the police department said they believe they know who the victim is, but have sent off DNA for testing to confirm the identity.

“We’re not sure how long that will take, we don’t have to do it often,” Cox said about sending off DNA to confirm the identity of the victim.
