In April of 2021 Governor Stitt signed into law “Ida’s Law”, which will create a local Office of Liaison for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Persons.

Studies have shown that Native American women and girls are 10 times more likely to disappear than that of their peer groups. It is paramount that funding for this taskforce is fulfilled as soon as possible.
