How sickening. I'm not finding any social media for them. Odd, given their ages. RIP Daniel, Steven and Bethany.

I will never understand these familial homicides as long as I live. They seem to be an epidemic anymore.

I knew the family. I worked with Danny for 5 years. Last I saw him was about 11 years ago. The time I worked with him, his family frequently stopped by at the office. We were a small business of about 25 people and very close knit. Most people in the office were JW and seemed to have some kind of history - either family abuse, mental illness etc. Something that made them an outcast and JW seemed to have accepted them. I knew Danny had mental illness and he was very open about it too. Never would have guessed Lauren had issues too. Their kids at that time were pretty young but smart and polite and well behaved. They were good parents. Really shocking to read about them on the news.

I'm curious to know how Lauren alone managed to kill all of them. I mean off the 3 adults somebody could have resisted or showed some sign of struggle. Wonder how the chain of events happened. She must have had a really bad psychotic episode. I mean you would have to be mentally numb to kill your own children.

Maybe she ambushed them one by one as they arrived home?
