At least two people were shot and killed when a gunman opened fire inside Campbell Hall at Michigan State university this morning

Schools in the area are in lockdown, according to state police.

According to the city of Mount Pleasant, the suspect is a 19-year-old black man wearing mustard yellow jeans and a blue hoodie. He is described about 5 feet 9 inches tall.

There has been a report of shots fired at Campbell Hall on campus. Suspect is still at large, police advise all to take shelter.

Mount Pleasant Police told Fox News that they are searching for a black man who is considered “armed and dangerous.”
 
Reporting now that the 2 people shot have died. My son says it is a domestic situation.

I hope the suspect is apprehended soon and that campus will return to normal.

I can’t believe they haven’t caught him! Mount Pleasant isn’t that big. [emoji35]. Local News says State Police are heading in with dogs and sky searches.

Mentioned during one of the LIVE Channel 4 reports: All municipal buildings and businesses are on lockdown. If gunman fled on foot, there won't be anywhere he can hide. :praying:

Central Michigan University shooting leaves two wounded, gunman on the loose

The sprawling Central Michigan University campus was on lockdown Friday after two people were shot and police were hunting for an "armed and dangerous" gunman, the Michigan State Police said.

UPDATED: Two shot and killed on CMU campus; suspect named

Two people were shot and killed early this morning on the Central Michigan University campus in what police believe was a family dispute.

“Central Michigan University police confirm two individuals were fatally shot at Campbell Hall on campus this morning,” the university said on social media. “The deceased are not students and police believe the situation started from a domestic situation.”

No one else was shot or injured.

Campus is on lockdown as the suspect is still at large.

The person of interest is James Eric Davis, Jr...
