Officers were called for a missing person report on Friday, March 9 after a woman's garage door was left open for a few days.

The Austin Police Department said Wednesday that Lindsay Rodriguez, 30, was last seen at her home in the 6200 block of McNeil Drive, just south of Parmer Lane.

Police found the front and back doors to the apartment "unsecured" and said it appeared Rodriguez left quickly, leaving behind valuable items and her prescription medication.

Detectives are concerned for her safety.

She is described by police as a white female, 5-foot-9, around 125 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.

Police say she drives a 2008 silver Ford Mustang with Texas license plate number TNC-326.

The apartments she lives in are not cheap, ($2200 for a two bedroom) and she doesn't have custody which means no child support so it's likely she is employed. Has anyone looked at a route from the park and ride where the car was found to where she works? Leaving the door unlocked might have just been an "I overslept I'm late to work scenario." Such a beautiful young lady, I do hope, as a Mom myself, she is found safe.
