The last time anyone in the family spoke to LaTisha Lane was on Saturday afternoon. After she couldn't be reached by her family, they contacted her job. LaTisha works at the AT&T building downtown. On Monday, a coworker attempted to call her but instead of going straight to voicemail, LaTisha's phone picked up and "she heard her crying.” Then the line went dead, no one has been able to reach her since.

It's believed LaTisha may be with her ex-boyfriend who showed up at her job last week to tell her he was leaving town and asked to take her out one last time.

She may be with a man driving a white, four door Chevy Silverado.

She was crying? This doesn't look good.

Too bad they are not mentioning who "the man" is. This poor woman. I hope she is safe!

The link in ep has been meanwhile updated and her name corrected to Letitia Lane

Clarksville Police Department officers visited a residence on Big Sky Drive to ask James Vaughn, the woman's ex-boyfriend, about her disappearance. Vaughn would not cooperate or talk. Police continued their efforts for multiple hours.

Clarksville SWAT members tried to breech the door, but Vaughn fired several times at the door and at officers. Officers did not return fire at that time. Tear gas was unsuccessfully used. At that point, officers forced their way into the home where they found Vaughn waiting for them inside with two firearms in his hands.

That's when officers shot and killed him.

Oh no...we've seen this before unfortunately. My heart is breaking for her loved ones.

A little more info about James Vaughn...

"Vaughn is not a Clarksville resident, and police say the residence he barricaded himself in is owned by an acquaintance.

He has a lengthy criminal history in Davidson County, including a conviction for voluntary manslaughter in 1995.

Vaughn was also indicted found guilty of resisting arrest, possession of cocaine with intent to sell, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia for an incident in 2003. "

Poor girl...when the friend heard the crying on Monday had she already been listed as missing? Why were the police not able to get cell phone triangulation if the phone was active?

I hope it’s not another case of police having to do a bunch of legal maneuvering to get cell records and by the time they receive the permission it’s too late the phone is inactive or destroyed. I thought that the law requiring all cell phones to have a GPS was so that it would expedite police locating a victim. In some jurisdictions this is smooth as clock work but in others it takes weeks...often it’s too late.

Lane's brother says, "Had a family meeting here today and some of the officers have shown up to express their support for us and their continued efforts to finding my sister. "

Lane was a dedicated employee of AT&T of nearly 25-years. AT&T put out a statement: "We’re very concerned for Letitia and hoping for her safe return. We’re working with Police and will help them however we can in their investigation."

Bumping for Letitia, I hope she's found safe.

So she was last seen on March 10th and LE found and shot the bf on March 16th? Oh my gosh, that's almost a week. He may have harmed her early on, or maybe she got away and is hiding. Fingers crossed for the latter.

What a beautiful lady! She looks much younger than 46.

They should get the phone records of her ex boyfriend. Then they can maybe determine where he took her or left her.

Foul Play Suspected In Nashville Woman's Disappearance

A Nashville woman has been missing 10 days and police suspect foul play; meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend died in an officer-involved shooting.

Lane's family has hired a private investigator.

Police are searching for Vaughn's vehicles. He owned a purple 2005 Honda VT1300 motorcycle with Tennessee license plate 575ZA8 and a 2014 Chevy Silverado with Tennessee license plate T84-02L.

Seems like he was anticipating for a shoot out with the cops. I've been to Nashville a couple times for Titans football games but I don't know the area too well outside of the downtown area. I hope she is found soon. Most likely a domestic violence relationship she had :(
