Found Deceased CA - Adea Shabani, 25, Hollywood, 23 Feb 2018 #2

Adea Shabani, 25, has not been heard from since last Friday, which her family and friends say is very unusual for her. Friends say she left the front door of her apartment unlocked, as if she were expecting to return soon.

The acting student left her native Macedonia to study acting and has only been in Los Angeles for two years. The last text Shabani sent was about red candles but offered no clues as to her whereabouts.

She was last seen at the 1700 block of Wilcox Avenue in Hollywood at around 11am on February 23, not far from where she lives.

Shabani's mother has hired a private investigator to help with the search and flew in from Macedonia in a bid to find her daughter.

The missing woman is described as white with blonde hair and blue eyes. She stands 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighs around 130 pounds.

She vanished after leaving her residence in the Duet apartments at 1745 N. Wilcox Ave.

Those who know Shabani say at first they just thought she was busy, but their suspicions were raised after she missed an important class at the Stella Adler Academy of Acting. That's when they requested that LAPD conduct a welfare check.

Chris Spotz, a 33-year-old aspiring actor, was identified by Riverside County Sheriff's officials as the man who led authorities on a chase from Hesperia to Corona in a stolen Toyota Tacoma. He fatally shot himself at the end of the pursuit.

Spotz had just returned to Southern California from Colorado where he was with his fiancee.

Friends of Shabani had apparently gone to the Los Angeles Police Department saying they had received an anonymous phone call days after Shabani’s disappearance, NBC-4 Los Angeles reported. The caller had allegedly seen Shabani placed in the bed of a truck by Spotz. She appeared to be “drugged and in danger,” the caller claimed.

Police believe Shabani was killed in the region between Hollywood and Sacramento. Officers have asked anyone with information to come forward.

Police are continuing to search for Shabani’s body and her mysterious disappearance. The young woman’s mother hired a private investigator to help in the search. She also flew in from Macedonia to aid with the search.

Shabani and Spotz went to Stella Adler Academy of Acting together, the school confirmed. She was set to graduate in September.

The school released a statement regarding the situation.

"At this time, we can only try to cope with the confusion and deep sadness as individuals and as a community," it said, in part. "We have been asked not to comment too much as there is still an ongoing investigation, but we are fervently united in hope, waiting to learn more about our beloved student Adea Shabani."

I am confused. And in the Ashleigh Banfield video they say that someone seeing Adea being placed in the truck was never verified. It was a rumor started on social media.
