3 bodies found in parked vehicle in Burbank

At least three bodies were discovered in a parked vehicle in the city of Burbank on Tuesday, police said.

"This is a homicide involving a parked vehicle," Sgt. Derek Green of the Burbank Police Department said.

According to police, the vehicle has Tennessee license plates and the bodies did not have obvious signs of trauma. Police believe that the bodies may have been "dumped" at the location, which is adjacent to the 5 Freeway.

The car — which had Tennessee license plates — matched the description of the vehicle in a missing persons flier circulating on social media. The flier says three men heading to Riverside in a Jeep Patriot with Tennessee plates went missing. One post said the men disappeared April 13.
"My understanding is that the vehicle in the picture was very likely the vehicle we had here in Burbank," Green said. He would not disclose the registered owner or address.
Bakersfield police did not immediately return a request for comment.
Los Angeles County coroner's officials are working to identify the bodies and determine the causes of death.
"The bodies are decomposed, they will not be identified" Tuesday, Lt. Larry Dietz said.
It's unclear how the bodies were positioned in the vehicle, though Green said no one was in the driver's seat. Because the area is secluded and close to the freeway, Green said the bodies may have been moved to Burbank.
"If it's, in fact, a body dump, we're going to have a jurisdictional issue to determine who will investigate — there's a lot of work that needs to be done," he said.

How sad...I looked at their Facebook pages and the post with the pictures from their spring break camping trip are both eerie and sad because he seemed so happy in that moment.
What happened to these poor men?
I too feel the Buck county PA vibes here...

the cosmo dinardo case. but I think cosmo was cray and killed the 4 guys for the thrill of it. I am thinking these guys met up w the wrong person for unknown reasons.

In the Facebooks, it seems they all lived in Bakersfield, California area. And grew up there.

But the car has Tennessee plates. And they were found in Burbank, cali.

But people are saying they are getting 'Bucks County' vibes? Color me confused...

Bucks County vibes just because it’s 3 missing grown men, then 3 found deceased.

ETA: oops, accidentally hit send before I was done. I hadn’t read any details but as soon as I saw 3 bodies then 3 missing men I immediately had flashbacks of Bucks County. So sad. I too am thinking they ran into the wrong person/people. I hope this gets figured out for the families ASAP.
