Missing Arkansas woman found shot to death

LITTLE ROCK (KATV) — An Arkansas woman who was reported missing Wednesday afternoon was found shot to death later that day, according to authorities.

The White County sheriff's office said Tara Landers-Gillham, 28, of Searcy, was found dead near Hiram Bluff on Arkansas 110 between Pangburn and Wilburn. Her vehicle was found nearby.

Further details on her death were not released.

The sheriff's office said an investigation is ongoing.

Sheriff’s Office investigating death
On April 18, 2018, the Cleburne County Sheriff’s Office received a call to be on the lookout for a missing female from White County. In the late afternoon, deputies located the female’s vehicle parked near Hiram Bluff on Highway 110 in between Pangburn and Wilburn. After a brief search, deputies located the female near the bluffs, deceased from a gunshot. The female was identified as the missing female, Tara Landers-Gillham, 28, of White County. The investigation continues.

That almost sounds like she harmed herself? I don't think she would though---seems like she was devoted to her adorable 4 yr old girl.

I wonder what's up with her child's father?

There are a couple obituaries up for her. The first one doesn't have her picture, but the second one does so it is indeed Tara. Her partner's last name is Gillham (apparently not married). According to the obituary she had another daughter who died in infancy in 2011. That had to be a rough year, as under the name Landers she had felony chargers earlier in 2011in Arkansas (I can't link as it's a paid search engine but it's Search Quarry dot com) involving drugs and firearms. She then had another daughter which is the beautiful little girl you see on facebook.. I wondered about a deceased child. While reading her FB I got the sense from some posts that she had lost a child. How sad.
