The community is generally oriented toward recent retirees. However, demographically, Sun City typically is not the last home where someone will live after retirement, but rather it is the first home of retirement for "active adults" who actively play tennis, golf, dance, do yoga or participate in numerous activities and clubs. These still-active retirees, typically between the ages of 55 and 65, are known a "Zoomers" as they are the active segment of the Baby Boom generation.

It is an age-restricted community.

Over the course of the past 24 months, Sun City Neighborhoods have experienced a number of incidents which may or may not be related to one another. These incidents have included suspicious vehicles, door bells being rung late at night and criminal trespass involving an unidentified individual walking through back yards, and in some instances entering residents’ homes without effective consent. These collective incidents are very concerning to the police department and your assistance is being requested.

The Georgetown Police Department is seeking assistance from the Community to identify a person of interest who may or may not be involved in the above referenced incidents. Below is a photograph of the person of interest. The physical description is as follows:

Male
5’8”- 6’
Mid 20’s – Mid 40’s
180 – 210 lbs

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Police Department Tip Line at 512.930.2746 or Detective Chris Brown at 512.930.3503

I know that at least one of the residents have allowed their son to live with them. He fits the description, and has drug addiction issues. Just wondering if this could be a possibility.
