Albany Police searching for missing man
Albany Police are currently attempting to locate a 55-year-old man who was last seen near the Hudson River early Friday afternoon.
According to a news release issued Sunday evening, Robert Busch was last seen near Jennings Landing on Friday around 1 p.m. He has not been seen nor heard from since. He had been staying at the Capital City Rescue Mission on South Pearl Street.
Busch is described as a white male, 5 foot-11 inches tall, weighing 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a bright orange construction T-shirt and jeans.
Albany police are asking anyone who may have information about Busch's whereabouts to call its Detective Department at (518) 462-8039.
The department also indicates that businesses and residences near the Hudson River should expect police activity in their vicinity as officers continue to search the area.
Members of the Albany Fire Department, Troy Fire Department and State Police Aviation Unit are assisting the Albany Police Department with its preliminary search.
