Battery Needed

someone has given me a gateway laptop. It is a "solo 2500".

Although it is a very old model, it will at least give me email access and allow me to up-date my website when the time comes for us to go to Tucson. It has wireless internet capability etc. The only problem is, it does not have a battery.

The battery it uses is a Sanyo Battery #4UR18650-3-3

Timex have you tried Freecycle?

Google search freecycle and go to their website and join your local chapter.
Then you can send a "wanted" email to the group.

My DH said to check battery warehouse they have lots of older batteries.....We had to go through this ourselves.

Timex, Comp USA sent me what was supposed to be a new battery under the warranty from this place. It appeared new, however I saved the box cause it took me almost 6 mos. to get the battery under their warranty. I hate Comp USA.
