I'm not finding Paul Tansey in any of the databases, I looked in Doe Network, findthemissing, Charley project, LBTH and Nampn. Could he have been located?
Here's a blog with his missing information
http://lookforus.blogspot.com/2007/10/paul-tansey.html

The UID is still there but the link has changed:
http://www.doenetwork.org/cases/1670umwa.html

"No samples remains for DNA submission" does this mean this UID was cremated? Or were the remains buried and back when this case was last assessed and this sentence entered into Namus, DNA testing hadn't yet evolved to old remains?

Not much information in the original news article either but a slight difference in PMI vs what NamUs reported. Expand timeframe if searching for MP match.

Article states body may have been in the water for more than 2 months.

NamUs states 6 weeks for PMI.

"Deputies said the body was of a man, possibly Oriental, in his 30's, 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 155-170 pounds."
