This was such a sad story on the news last night. This poor little girl what a sad life she had in her short 10 years. I wish we had the death penalty here in MN!

A judge today set bail at $1 million each for a father and his live-in girlfriend charged with abetting second-degree murder in the death of a 10-year-old girl scalded to death on Friday in Blaine.

That is just so sad. She was a poor vulnerable baby. Who ever did this to her knew that!
 
I don't get it. How and why was she partly submerged in the scalding water? Had they beaten her senseless and then panicked and tried to revive her by dunking? The article says Jordan was at least partially unconscious when she was put in the water. This makes no sense to me. So the step-mom didn't beat her own darlings but she smacked Jordan around? Very nice. Oh yes very nice indeed.
 
I can't say what I'm thinking...but these type of people need to be publicly hanged or we should do as the Romans did...Tie them between two chariots and pull them apart. I'll book box seats.
 
I just cant stop thinking about this poor little girl. What a horrible life she had to live for 10 years.

What a very true statement!!!!!!
 
This poor child endured an awful lot in her very short life... not one of the "adults" in her life did anything positive or good for her or so it appears..

A mother with "personal" issues....
The mothers boyfriend who molested here...
The father and girlfriend ( a nurse no less) who beat and scald her..

and not one of them lifted a finger to come to her aid, remove her from the horrible existance, or protected her from the others...

Not one of these idividuals should be a allowed to procreate let alone be allowed anywhere near any child... friggin animals. It makes me so incredibly angry, and sad.. especially when you think of all the folks out there who are dying to have a child and can;t... who would provide love, care and a wonderful life for this child.
:furious: The ought to be scalded inch by inch but not enough to pass out... they ought to feel incredible physical pain for the rest of their lives...

According to the criminal complaint, Meier called police at 2:30 a.m. Saturday to report that Jordan was "vomiting and appeared very ill." Police came and found the girl unresponsive and cold to the touch. She appeared to be covered in burns and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Meier said the girl had been feeling ill all day and decided to take a bath about 1 a.m. The woman said Jordan was having a hard time moving in the tub. Meier said she carried the girl from the bathroom to her bed, where the girl became listless, according to the complaint.
 
Lying b-word. That poor, poor child.Thank God she is in a better place now, no thanks to any of her so-called family.

I am so depressed after reading what happened to her :(
She was damned no matter which parent she lived with :mad:
Jordan deserved better than this.

God rest her little soul.

Gonsioroski and Meier pleaded guilty in March to second-degree murder in Jordan's death. But they pointed fingers at each other. In June, Gonsioroski was sentenced to 30 years in prison...

Jordan's autopsy results suggested the girl was underweight, had likely not eaten for several days and was malnourished at the time of her death.
