TRILBY - Pasco County Sheriff’s Office deputies are trying to figure out who shot two male victims to death on a dirt road early today.

The bodies were found lying side-by-side on Harris Hill Road, less than 50 yards from Trilby Road.

Sheriff’s spokesman Kevin Doll said they were the 15th and 16th homicide victims in the county this year.

Today’s homicides marked the third shooting incidents in Pasco since Sunday, when a 33-year-old woman and 58-year-old man were shot as they sat in a pickup on Wilson Street, just east of Old Lakeland Highway.

A 54-year-old man and his 31-year-old daughter were shot on McKray Road in Lacoochee on Wednesday.

“I can’t say these [shootings] are connected in any way,” Doll said.

They were found shot to death in their car on a dirt road. I will see if I can find a link with more details.

DADE CITY - Long before Jeremy Hanson Henry became the suspect in the brutal shooting deaths of two teenagers in Trilby, he was a wanted man.

Dade City police have been looking for the 21-year-old reputed gang leader since early May, when he reportedly crashed through bushes outside a KFC in a rented car and led police on a high-speed chase for several blocks before he disappeared.

At the time, Henry was suspected of planning to rob the restaurant at gunpoint.

He's been on the run ever since.

On Wednesday, the Pasco County Sheriff's Office identified Henry as a "person of interest" in the slayings of Raymond Veluz, 18, and Derek Pieper, 17, whose bodies were found early July 28 on a secluded country road in Trilby. Sheriff's office spokesman Doug Tobin said Henry is a suspect in the slayings.

That morning, neighbors in the rural

Jeremy Hanson Henry’s body was found shortly after 2:30 a.m. at the end of Chesterfield Road. Deputies received a call of shots fired in the area around 2:37 a.m., Pasco County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Kevin Doll said.

Henry, who has an extensive criminal record, was wanted by Pasco authorities since early May when he led deputies on a high-speed chase after being spotted outside a KFC restaurant. He eluded capture that night and hadn’t been arrested since Pasco detectives named

A Pasco County jury found 27-year-old Luc Pierre-Charles guilty Wednesday of two counts of first-degree murder. His sentencing is scheduled for May 13.

Pierre-Charles was previously convicted in 2009 of killing 17-year-old Derek Pieper and 18-year-old Raymond Veluz, but the convictions were overturned in 2011...

A second man — 29-year-old Tyree Jenkins — also has been charged in the killings. He's already serving a life sentence for an unrelated 2008 murder in Hillsborough County.
